HOW? Support Social and multi-family housing, tiny homes, hotel rentals, and safe lots, cut bureaucratic red tape, implement effective subsidies, create tenant/landlord support to keep people housed, and a vacancy tax.
A SAFER City
HOW? Creating a safe urban environment is job #1. When we address poverty, mental illness, and substance use disorder, homeless and crime decrease. We can have police and alternative responses. We can lead with common sense compassion and refuse to tolerate harmful behavior.
